transmission oil?
A man at an auto parts store told me he was using ATF oil in his top-loader 4spd. He said a guy that rebuilds manual trannies told him it was best to use. Anyone else ever heard of this?

Re: transmission oil?
I know most of the newer manual transmissions, overdrives, come from factory w/ATF. had never heard that on top loaders.

It will work, but gear oil is best.
