Nice job! I haven't seen one with a stock seat brought back to life. It must be nice to get in to a new feeling cab.

Any pics with out the blue tint on the pictures :? :)

I have to work on that, pictures where taken right before dark. If you think the blue glows to the camera, I would almost swear it glows in the dark like that. I'll see what I can do.

It looks really good. Why don't you tell us exactly you have done to it?

Dablack00, I figured all the pictures in my other gallery listing would cover that. But in a short nut shell, I pulled it all the way down to the frame, put floor pans in, took off the big side molding and welded up the holes for it. Motor and tranny rebuild to stock, other than the rims its pretty much stock. Put factory color paint back, along with new seat cover. Oh, I basically covered every square inch of it in POR-15. I have this obsession with not seeing rust, ever. Some body work was needed, but nothing that has not been seen a bunch of times on here before.
Bumpside, its possible I could be that. Even when I buffed the orginal paint, it did not have the glow that the stuff I put on it does. :drive: But it is really close to the factory colors.

Nice ride there. Looks great, and no, they are never done. There is always an itch to make something better!

Thank you, the camera hides more imperfections that I'd like to admit I left on it. But not bad for the everyday driver and work truck I had planned from the start. I've done my fair share of "show ponies" but its amazing how just half crapping (stopping at 1000grit and not going all the way 4000 and higher sanding) a paint job always makes something look. I was shocked at the "glow" it has and I didn't even polish with rubbing compound the paint or the clear coat. The nice thing here is that almost everyone here knows how much work goes into one of these before the paint goes on. I much rather be turning wrenches than putting a block with paper in a bucket of water, but each thing has to be done in it own time. Even after I has started putting stuff back on the frame I wondered if I would ever be done with it. I will have to say that rumbling down the road with it is more fun than building it. Can't wait till I see the green machine on the road, or at least complete pictures of it. Yes, I'm a picture junkie like the rest of you, I just suck at the picture taking part.
