led tail lights

got my led tail lights today and man are they bright! got the tail lights that are red and yellow orange ones for the front turn singles.

I have seen them and wondered what they looked like. They are brite.

What color are the bare LED's lit up by themselves?

lite up by themselves? nope i have the batt chager hook up to the wires. is that what you mean? the ones i have are 2 red and 2 amber.

I knew that was too wordy. :oops:
And I guess you said it already in your first post. :oops: :oops:

So those in the taillight are red. Was wondering what it would look like with a blue-dot? Somebody sells repro taillight lenses with the blue-dot already installed in the right location.

I got a set of the Blue-Dot's off eBay a while back for about $20 with shipping I think..

summit has them, but i would order somthing else you want from them at the same becuase the handle charge is a flat rate. works good if you order alot of stuff but sucks for one small thing. they pulled put 2 kinds, one 7.95 and the other 4.95 i have no idea why the price difference.

autozone sells 1157 and 194a bulbs that use the original socket. the 1157s are red or white.

and the only 194A bulbs i saw were the amber ones i gues thats what the a is for.

1157s go for 16.99 and the 194s go for 9.99 and require no rewire.

hey sure are bright. Not my style...but then again, not my truck.

Cool deal. That blue dot lens is cool...may add some more flavor to it.
