I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Excellent! that brought back memories of a 79 extended cab 250 4x4 i had. I remember being nervous turning the key for the first time. I spent a lot of time and money on it I didn't want to do something wrong. it wouldn't start due to the dizzy being 180 out fixed that and it roared to life. I couldnt stop smiling all day... making good progress there keep it up sounds good too!!!

alllllright. this is probably more of a relief than starting the motor! i believe I have my electrical problems beat. it wouldn't charge the battery as some of you know. Well, after messing with it just once more today, it is CHARGING!!!! it sits right around 13.5 or so, but I think running it a while will get it to come up a few more tenths to where it should be.

Re: from beginning to end!"Project: Big Nell"(11/1/07)
wow.....a full year and then some with no posting in here. That's not good.
I may be back around though, as fate would have it no one bought my truck (1600 obo) and I come back one day and someone has thrown a crown vic suspension under the front of a bump. So I am up on money a little bit here with taxes coming back and I think my dad is willing to help...So you may be seeing pictures of my bump becoming closer friends with the ground.
I want a 4/6 or 5/7 drop on the truck with mustang 5 spoke 18's. I want to tuck the tire and a little wheel, and that will be the perfect height. I want to put either a 4 link and basic bag setup for towing or drop it with leafs and install some helper bags. Either way, I am also having my toyota built, and I want to tow it with my bump.
Do you guys want pics of my toyota as well? I will make a few posts dedicated to it so this thread doesnt relapse into hibernation if you guys want them.

I never left, just lurked a while, no real reason to post until now. Let's hope things work out with the price for the work and parts and we can get this sucker back on the road.
I need:
Crown Vic crossmember and suspension
Driveshaft (probably just have one made?)
Column Shift Bushings
18" mustang gt wheels (08 i believe they are)
Guages of some sort, original or aftermarket
Throttle linkage for 302/stock carb
Floor pans
Cab mounts

I have like 500 bucks to go towards this so I should get moving soon. It seems to be not that difficult, but I am not going to do it in my garage, I don't have the room nor the patience.
Does anyone want to see what I have been up to as far as my little toyota I asked about a few times in the motor forum?

Glad to have you back layedout72. Good plan on the on the suspension upgrades. It looks to be working out for several here! No one will flame ya for that!!
Good luck and lets see some pics of all you done to both vehicles!
I think ares360 is upset because of the good advice he got on his build. But to each his own.
