That is etching primer...NAPA brand. I used that because I surfaced down to bare metal on most of this project. All the 2K stuff comes next.

I've never been a fan of moving the rear crossmember back further to accomodate a fuel tank. That crossmember needs to be between the spring hangers for lateral support!!

Great build!! I like that dash. I I noticed after I boxed my frame and added the 2x4 crossmembers it made the frame wayyy stiffer than before I was very suprised with the results. I dont know if youre wanting to eliminate flex or what I just wanted to throw that out there.

I wish I had the Time, money and/ or inclination to do that to my truck, Kinda hard when its your daily sled.
