Posted for us with 67's and babies OTW Update Page

Post by GT-Racer »

Well boys, I have been completely shocked this morning.... twice. We just had our last ultrasound today and found out we may be only 3 weeks out instead out seven. :D  :? By size of baby we may be due on sept 18th instead of oct 17th. AAAAAHHHHH!!!! We arent ready, lol.

And second surprise... my wife was sure we are having a boy this time (she was dead on right last time). Turns out we are haveing another girl.
Time to start on that new bathroom for myself. :o
Keep us and Keith, and all the others with babies on the way in your prayers the next couple of months please.
Oh and pictures... almost forgot....

Congratulations! But is anyone really ready for the Baby until it gets here?? :-)

My wife, Liz just had her latest Doc's appt. Wednesday, and now she is starting to have early labor pains, so ours will be coming in the next few days or weeks! and we still aren't ready, either!

Kepp us in your thoughts as we will keep you all in ours as the next few weeks progress.

Congrats everyone. Must be something in the water. If my wife doesn't go into labor before Tues. 8/30, the doctors will induce her @ 7a.m. AZ time. According to our ultrasound, it's a boy. We are naming him Aaron James. There's a chance that he will be born c-section because of his size. My daugher was 7lbs 4 ozs and the doc had to break her clavical (sp?) because she became stuck in the birth canal. They are saying that this one is well over 8lbs!!! Good luck everyone!

Wow...it's a baby flood!

The official due date for ours is Sept 27th, but the last one was two weeks early, so we're also getting pretty close. In fact, Mary's told me she's actually been feeling some minor contractions off and on too, so who knows?

I guess we'd better get our butts in gear and come up with names too. We've got the name for one gender picked out, but not for the other....just in case. We were told what they thought the gender is for this one, but for those of you who remember, a little over a year ago when our last one was born, the ultrasound nurse said it was a girl, so we had a girl's name picked out and showed up at the hospital with girl's clothes. However, the little one decided to surprise us with some....um....extra plumbing. ;) So although we were told the gender of this one, we're not holding our breath.

LOL Thanks for all the well wishes. Like I said my wife was right last time and this time she was sure it was a boy so we dont have any girl names picked out yet. But luckily we can use all the girl stuff from last time. So not to much to buy. Our last baby was 6 lb 9 oz this one is estimated to already be 6lb 5 oz. So either it will be huge or our due date is coming sooner than expected.

Both of ours came C-section. Our daughter got stuck in the birth canal as well, so she came C-section.
Then the docs decided that would be the safest way for our son to come as well.
I hope and pray all goes well for you guys and your wives. :)

Thanks everyone, and again, good luck! I'm getting excited for two reasons.

1-Of course a new member of the family

2-I get 12 days off work!!!!

I haven't had a vacation in about 5 years or more. I am really looking forward to this time with my family. I probably won't get any work done on the 68. I'm still fighting the lack of space in the garage. I will, however, get some time to get a lot of it cleared out over those days. The wife is getting to the point of, "Get some progress going or get rid of it." I've only had it 9 years and put all of 250 miles on it.

BTW, my wife has a growing "honey do" list, including the garage. Take care everyone!

you get 12 days off work???? man I gotta fight to stay in the local (100 mile) area while the baby is deciding whether to come out or not. the boss wasn't too happy when I told him I was going to take a couple 3 days afterwards to be at home. its gunna work out that I am 150-200 miles away when she goes into labor. just my luck!
