Re: My granddad's '69 swb
Nice ol truck. Your grandpa would be proud. It looks great. I know what you mean about the missing driver of a vehicle. My ol 67 aint complete without my dad turnin the wheel and shifting the gears. Still feels nice to hav the ol thing though. Its a part of his life that I still have. Anyways, nice truck. Take care of it!!! We dont mind altering from original some. Mine isnt factory, but it fits in fine here! Each person does things their own way, and here, the guys accept that. So, little things like the grille and centers are no problem!

Sweet looking truck. I like the grille you have on there but they did make a steel 69 grille. I have one I plan to get chromed
Oh, windshield washer may work better with some hoses going to the sprayers Just messing around. Truck looks great

I've got hoses on the sprayers now. Still no fluid in the washer tank, though!

Hey, I just found this old thread. Still have the truck. I fixed all the stuff I mentioned but now my speedometer doesn't work. I think something is wrong with the drive gear. Also, yesterday, the inside driver's door handle stopped working. I can reach out the window and open the door with the outside handle. Something must have come loose inside.
Oh, and I did end up finding a white steel grille but no headlight buckets, unfortunately.
