re: Who drives their trucks?
When I go up to the PNW meet and greet sunday it will ahve been the 1rst time I've driven it in a month. Meanwhile, it languishes on my mothers lawn..

Most every day! It gets a little better milage than my Bronco. Heck, the truck has 350 thousand miles on it so I drive it!! --(only 130 thou on this motor though). I love driving it!! I feel more comfortable in the "OLD" stuff!!

Well it won't be any fun to wax it till the paint's done. So I drive it. I do ride the bike or motorcycle to and from work though. Just ordered my headers and I swear I have a money order for Chris for some Fordification stickers laying around somewhere.
But yeah, I drive it. I just try to resist flooring it to beat the Hondas to the light.

Mine's my driver as well.... If I need mileage and don't have to haul anything, I take the Harley. If I'm going anywhere around here just for fun and it's not too far, I take my horse!

It could be worse. HE could have wanted to drive the truck!frankc67 wrote:My 68 is my daily driver since son turned 16 couple months ago.
I used to drive my '68 quite frequently, but it's up on jackstands being restored, so it'll be a while.

I drive my 1975 every day .
9.0 miles to the gallon around town 10 maybe 11 on the highway .
I have two gas tanks though so I can usually go about 2 weeks before I HAVE to fill up.

My 70 crewcab is a daily driver. It probably sees around 50-100 miles a day between work and running my kids around. It's usually parked on the weekend unless it is fullfilling it's truckly duties.

re: Who drives their trucks?
i'm sorry to say i retired my 68 in 2000. i still have it but it needs work i did replace her with a 93 f150 which i still have and when it layed down on me 1 got a 94 f250. i still drive it as a daily driver its not that bad on gas. but i will repair the 68 some day if i can borrow a valve spring compressor from my friend.
