Hey Sport71, that hood scoop really gives your truck an edge! I'm also very excited to see the finished product. Your project is one of the very nicest I've seen.

Lookin' good! I have the same style wheels as yours. What width are they? Mine are 8" on the front and 10" on rear with 235 60x15 and 275 60x15 BFG Radial TA

Thanks shouldn't be long now. The bed, and most of the moldings got put on today.
George, I got, Mickey Thompson Sportman tires 295-50-15 for the rear, and 225-70-15 for the front... I'll see how they sit in the back next week. I had the 295's before the rebuild. The front is still getting the dream beams put on once I get it out of the body shop.

Re: Pics of my 71's Progress (Bed On)
Got it on with all the moldings yesterday. The oil was leaking from the back and needs to go back to the motor shop, even with the small leak she runs like a beast. WOW.. It scared me. once out of the motor shop I'll be doing the final tweeks. Here's some more updates..

Wow, that thing is looking Sharp. Might start thinking of keeping mine white if it wasn't so hard to keep clean.

Ok, it is your truck and it is built for you but you are killing me with the:
70-72 belt line Ranger Trim (on the bump)
Sport Custom badge
non-ranger tailgate trim
69 ranger grill
non-ranger lower trim
I know you dig it and you have done a great job, but every new picture I see I get more confused.
NOTE: I'm one of those weird guys that has a problem with the wrong brackets being used.......I know, I know, you aren't going for a restoration....

Re: Pics of my 71's Progress (Bed On)
Isn't it cool double wide trim. I blocked out the rear parking lihts because of the 68 grill, but I still lift some slits to hide the light. I also have the other tailgate trim, but since the bed had holes for the Sportcustom I used the black trim. The hood scoop I think you did like though, I think I got you on that. Different was what I went for, it's the only one of it's kind....It's a mut...LOL...

Re: Pics of my 71's Progress (Bed On)
Dad checked the oil leak and it was loose oil pan bolts. I'm so glad that My truck is almost done. I don’t know if you guys want to see some better pictures. You guys I would love some more feedback, like dablack00 left. Since I’ve mixed up parts from all bump trim levels,
I've yet to see a nice bump here in the Valley, and if you get lucky to see one, it's seen better days. It's not a common truck down here.
When I take it to a car show, I’ll see just how many people actually like the bumps. I hope you all like my truck..

Your truck looks great , glad to hear that the leak was only a loose pan. Also I really like the way you mixed up some of your trim, looks like you chose some of the best trim seen on these trucks and put it together on yours. Also I really dig that scoop, it makes my truck kinda jealous wishing she had one .
