Your truck is coming around now its looking great but i have one thing that just sticks out at me and i cant help but to ask, you do know that your cargo light is upside down ? and a quick question, Are you planing on putting the rest of the trim on the tailgate ? because when you look at your truck everything is looking good, the sides all trimed out, under the hood is bright and shinny and clean looking, the interior is fresh and comfortable but when you get to tailgate it looks like theres something missing, everything else on your truck is brite and shiney and i can see the hard work that went into it and i think you have done a great job on your truck, but the tailgate just doesnt blend in with the rest of the truck.

Thanks for the comments guys,

caseys71, that’s what I thought about the trim, and to me it looks great.

jasonm2131, I’ll make the video on good sunny day. The weather's been nasty down here, and I won't take it out in the rain.

JMcTurnan, I’ve had the truck since 2005, and had the dream since I was 13. Needless to say it's comming true.

hazelnut, I was waiting to see who would notice the cargo light. The paint shop put it on wrong. As for the tailgate I think since it’s not two tone I’ll leave it as is, but I see your view.

69F110, it’s been a long time now, and I can finally drive it.

I just noticed the cargo light when I looked again. I also think the tailgate looks a little bare without the rest of the trim, I would definitely put it on if it were me.

Good day Sport71!

That stereo and those speakers look like they sound great! You've truly built your Dream Truck here haven't you.

Now that it's complete, what are your plans for it? Do you plan on taking it to shows? How about driving it to work or for errands during fair weather?

I read your comment about not wanting to drive it in the rain, and I can understand that completely! There's no reason to take it out in bad weather--you can always use a modern, disposable car for that. If I had a truck that thoroughly re-done I don't think I'd take it out in bad weather. Not to mention the nasty consequences of rain water getting sucked in to your hood scoop!

You know what I'd love to see? I'd love to see a video taken from inside of the cab, where you drive it around the block a few times.

Have you driven it enough miles for the engine's break-in period to be over (so you can really test the engine out), or are you still takin' it easy?

Thanks for the excellent photos!

 That is a real nice bump! I like everything you have done to it. I will be using ranger wide moldings with the 3 stripe bottoms on mine as well. I like the way it looks and they are readily available.

basketcase0302 - Isn't it cool that if you look into the truck all you see is the original AM.

brandon.k - It does sound real good, Im just glad that it doesn't sound like an empty can with all the sound deadner I put.

robroy - Hay, thanks. The plans are for winning all the shows.
It's not all done yet, it also needs the wood floor put in. Plus I still need to time the engine, so I'll be taking it to a speed shop here real soon, and also the transmission is slipping 2nd gear, even though she have alot of power, and does 0-100 real fast.
I will be posting some videos some time soon driving it around. The engine only has like 76 miles on it, I think it still needs to brake in some.

rattlecan - I'll need to look, but I know I'll have some NOS rocker moldings. If you might be needing them..

Here are some more pics from today..
