Your project looks real nice. I just started to follow it today, and am looking forward to more pics.

I also like the counter weight on the cab when you lifted it off the frame. I have done it twice and never thought of doing that

the counter weight idea was all dads... he did the same thing on his old studebaker pickup he is restoring ...getting the cab off the frame wasnt bad neither was tipping it very carfully on its back to por-15 the underside.....the scary part was when we tipped it back right side up the cable holding the front up and it came crashing down and miracously landed on the cab mounts on the frame right were it was suppose to be.... and thankfully didnt harm anything

Looks good. Are you going to hook up the compressor to factory AC unit. If so get some good pics of that if you don't mind. I'm running serpentine belts in my truck (460) and would like to see how that would work.

thanks

I havent been following this but the intake setup you have does have a kickdown bracket. It is a cable, not a rod. Your linkage also has the ball. You can see it in the pics. Does your trans have 2 levers on it? 1 for the shift linkage and 1 for the kickdown?

yeah im plaining on hooking up a factory style ac to the newer compressor but imnot just sure how yet.... probally will have to make hoses for it, but i will try to get picutres of that when i do it.

well the engine it self came from a 92 f250 with the e40d auto transmission, the harness from a 91 with a manual tranny and 351.

The transmission it self is a m5r2 5 speed. Im very grateful to the guy at the junk yard i got most of these parts from with all the help he has given me over all this time

the only things that are gonna be hard for me to do is just making sure i get every thing wired right. Just gonna take me some time to figure it out, but once i get into it it wont take me long. I have my 88 efi truck as well to kinda go by as far as were stuff hooks up.

I as well have a 87 f150 that i have all the parts to pull for the a/c set up to hook up to my factory under dash unit

well its been forever and a day since i updated this so a lot has changed and the project is still on going.... its down in my garage now instead of up at dads so i can work more on it.
I gave up on the factory style wiring( wasn't gonna work where i wanted every thing with out doing around 2 days worth of work stretching wires) and went with a harness from RJM injection technologies 90% of the wiring is done on this truck i need to mount the computer and do a few odds and ends on it still...
i upgraded to a 3g alternator.. and if all goes well on this one im gonna update my 67 and my 88 pickups as well.
still a lot of work.... and im gonna put the original blue doors back on instead of the black doors..... *musta head my head up somewhere on that one* lol

so a few pictures.
