New project

Post by Darren »

Acquired another project in the form of a '65 Ranchero. It's a deluxe with a 289 and factory tonneau. Needs a lot of work, but the '71 CS should be done within a few weeks, so no point in not taking a good deal when one crops up. I plan on putting it back to pretty much stock configuration, but am no slave to tradition. Any suggestions?

I want a 65 or 67 (like both styles) Ranchero so bad it just aint funny. Had a 67 lined up in NC, but my cousin needed cash and sold it before I could get there.

That 289 is one of the sweetest engines ever made!

I'll get some pics up when I get it hauled home. Heck, I might even take the busted windshield out and drive it!
