Cyclone is still the "Cyclone"

Post by TheCyclone »

I figured my truck came to me with this name because of the numerous exhaust leaks. Over the last couple of months I've done new manifolds, new pipes and muffler, and low and behold--its still leaking! I think its a warped head at this point. Ahhh.

On the brighter side I did find a new truck bed with NO rust this weekend at the pick-n-pull. Score!

Is it major? They make some stuff you can put in your oil or antifreeze not sure, but it clogs up the warped part. And keeps it from leaking. I never used it before anyone know how well it works?

Works pretty good. You should get 6 or 8 bottles of it.

I think what he is saying is he still has an exhaust leak. What kind of snake oil is going to cure that?

Probably just a bad surface between the manifolds and block. Are you using gaskets? Are the manifolds NEW or just new to you? Maybe check for cracks in them. Might want to do a once over on the rest of the system too, just to make sure nothing got missed when putting the new stuff on.
