My best advice is to take a close look at the feedback!!!! I bought some parts from a guy that had a pretty decent feedback, but the comments were hidden (didn't notice that until I'd bid). At any rate, 2 1/2 months later, I was neck deep in a dispute through paypal (98% unhelpful... they tried to seize his account, but there was no money there) and Square Trade (99.9% unhelpful... they wrote a letter or 2 to him and basically said I was out, and they could do nothing). So I left him negative feedback, and he blasts ME with negative feedback!!!!!
I contacted ebay about it, and they basically said "they do that sometimes when you give them negative feedback"..... so I guess the moral of the story is NOT to depend on eBay or any of the so called "protection" outfits there... and pay CLOSE attention to feedback!!!!!
I finally got some money back, but only after paypal had seized his accounts... I was about to make a trip up there to see him in person and at least get some satisfaction that way!
