Hood Swap - Minor project but cool

Post by socalcraigster »

I just bought this 69 F250 las week. I found a replacement hood for $50 on craiglist. While the replacement has some minor rust, it is nothing compared to the rot on the original. The replacement is even the same color. The seller was gracious enough to help me install it.

Click on this link to see the difference between both hoods.

Let me know what you think.

Next, I am going to rebuild the carb and remove the camper shell.

Regards,

$50 for a hood the same color and he helped you put it on the truck, you dont find value like that everyday.
