Well, it's time! [BABY UPDATE!]

Post by FORDification »

Mary JUST now told me that her contractions are close enough together and getting strong enough that we're off to the hospital. :D

Hopefully the next time you hear from me I'll be a daddy....again! 8)

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

Well, folks.....

IT'S A GIRL! :woohoo: :hd:

Brianna Nicole Dickson was born at 1:16 AM this morning, and weighs 7 lbs. 15 oz., and is 20 inches long. The delivery went well, fairly quick. Mom and Brianna are both doing very well and resting now and I decided that I'd rather sleep in my own bed than in a recliner at the hospital so I came home. Fortunately we only live 5 blocks away. I'll head back up to the hospital mid-morning after mom and daughter get some rest. However, I decided to spend a couple minutes posting these pics before passing out. In fact, you all are the first to know about her birth and the first to see any pics. We tried calling a few family members, but nobody seemed to be answering their phone at 3 AM! :hmm:

These were taken about an hour ago, when she was about 3 hours old. :D (click to enlarge)

Catch you all later....I'm off to bed. :zz:
