As you know it was a tight fit. but they did a great job.
Looking good! keep us posted on the progress.
Yeah buddy, that was a tight fit. He got it out of the trailer before I could take pics when I meet him. Talk about filling the trailer, there was no room to spare. I think as of right now I am going to delete the trim and weld up the holes. I am going to be using this thing in the brush and stuff. I am going to keep the trim so I can put it back on same day if I choose to. Perhaps a restoration? A long time from now though.

Well I was hoping to take this truck to the meet and greet today, but the paint is still not dry and I cannot reinstall everything before the trip. Here are the pics of it now after I had a painting marathon yesterday. After the paint dries, I will finish cleaning it up and reinstalling everything and take a couple more pics.

Wow you have really transformed your truck's appearance yet again--it is looking extremely clean with the uniform paint and the stark contrast of those beautiful black wheels!
May I ask what kind of paint, and kind of paint application you used?

Paint is Tractory Supply (Velspar) gloss white and I used their oil based sandable grey primer under it. Application was with a top feeder Harbor Freight spray gun.

That looks awesome! I am at the primer stage on my 69 F100. I am going the same route as far as materials. I am happy to see it stayed white. Keep it closer to original I say! Did you fill the moulding holes, or are they going back on?

Looks good, reminds me of when my truck was together. i didnt follow up on your heater core job, did you find a heater core or have to have something else done to get the heater fixed ?
VERY nice rig !! What I love about the highboyz is, with a simple leveling "kit", you can run 35's no problem. & the fact that they are one of the stoutest looking trucks on the road.

Sorry I missed this but I was going to have the old core's tanks put on a new heater core from a regular heater core. Same size just has different tanks and the tubes stick straight out. Anyways, the radiator shop that I left it with ended up just rebuilding the old one. Its all back together right now but I have to buy a new fan for it since it is wore out and makes a bunch of noise.

Here are some long awaited pics of a more finished product. Lately I have put everything back on like the emblems and mirrors. I had new dual exhaust run from the headers back and I finally found a use for the bed rail caps that I took of the 67 twelve years ago. I painted them gloss black the other day and mounted them up, topped off with an old headache rack. lastly, yesterday I had the windshield from the 67 put in with a new gasket and the good sliding rear window that came with it. I am pretty much done for now except trying to get the A/C going and eventually swapping the tranny. But for a while I am calling this done.
Come see it in person May 22nd at our Texas M&G in Hillsboro.

Holy over spray batman !! Are you gonna shoot some black on the underside to cover up the white ?
I would love to come to the M&G, but its every bit of 4hrs away. The truck looks buff. I like the headache rack. It fits the truck nicely along with the bed rails.
