69 F250 Highboy Project "Green Bean"

Post by FordTruck »

For the past 3yrs or so I've been working on my old 70 F100 I tore it down to the frame and did cab/bed/trans you name it I probably did it but I don't know why but I traded it yesterday for a 69 F250 Highboy. Its got a 300/NP435 Dana 24 T-case Dana hi-pinion front 44 and 60 rear. I've had it since last night and I've already been tearin in to it thanks to help from my friend Tyler its bascially became our old green bean crusin/off roadin rig.

The old 70 "Big Burtha" leaving on a trailer to be traded for the highboy. Thanks to Chainey and his powerjoke

Thanks BiggDogg! I'm working on putting my chrome wheels off of my CS on it but 33x12.50/16.5 tires are hard to find.

I was wondering about you

Oh yeah its getting that stack I had on the camper special for now then when I get some money I'm headin to a big rig junkyard to get a couple chrome ones :D After I get that camber fixed I'm gonna save up and buy a 4in spring lift but for now I'm gonna add the camper special leaf packs to the ones on it with some blocks for a temp lift.

I ain't done a whole lot with the ol truck lately but I've put a new master cylinder on it and I'm gettin ready to go get some new gauges for it this weekend. But I did take it out for a little fun in the mud after school. Goin out again to hit a couple more holes.

Big bad 300

It looks alot better with the 33's. Do you have a 4th wheel for the rear ??

Yeah but the tire has a slash in it so I didn't bother to put it on. But I went back out for a few more runs in the mud and broke something :x . It sounded like a u-joint break but all the joints are intact so I don't know but at least it looks good sittin next to the house

Still haven't messed with the u-joint snap noise or the camber but I bought some lights for the headache rack, windshield sticker and repainted the grille. Also after some tough negoiation with my mom I agreed to take some graduation pictures as long as I could have the greenbean in the background
