Thats a 350. The late 90's vortec engines were some of the best GM ever produced. Lots of power & halfway descent fuel economy.dolinick wrote:um, a vortec 5.7 liter i think. well i will find out what kind of engine it is exactly...

Re: biggest production pick-up truck!
Hazel those are F650's and up, most usauly have an utility bed or tow bed on them. i have seen a few used as Yard Dogs for trucking and manefacturing/shipping companies. I can't vouch for the Crew Cab being production but it is more than likely as they do have single cab and extended cab versions.
I beleive these all start life as Cab & Chasis (C&C) trucks. ad as for the big international Somebody has to replace hummer right? that is one curiosity i have now, Will There still be military hummers built, or will they swap out to iether international or Ford for the humve replacement? or even just go back to jeeps?

I don't want to give em a heart-attack. That is what would happen if I answered the door in the buff. Heck it almost scares me to death when I step out of the shower and look in the mirror.~Mancar1~

The 650 and up crews are production. They are used mostly in fire apparatus and tow trucks

I drove a 650 rollback about a year ago. 4 people in comfort, a Lincoln on the deck and an F250 on the wheel lift. No problem.papabug71 wrote:fireguywtc wrote:The 650 and up crews are production. They are used mostly in fire apparatus and tow trucks
