1974 Truck Shop Manual, okay for my 1972?

Post by FordRocket72 »

I bought Vol 1 & 2 of the 1974 Ford Truck Shop Manual at a flea market, both for $10. I have perused through Vol 2. Engine and I am guessing most of it is valid for my 1972 F100. I know the body style changed after so I wonder how valid is the Vol. 1 Chassis??

Very little would have changed between the two years. You can always check here for the answers. The Chilton book I have is for 65-86. Clymer is 69-86. If you have drum brakes on your truck, and the manual shows disc, maybe you rip that section out. :D

Good luck

Or you just convert to disc brakes.
