Also remember these are copied and pasted from the bronco forum so names and comments people won't / might not understand
I copied and posted all the pics / comments for those posts.. hope you all enjoy!

Re: 69 F250 body on 87 bronco frame
I don't think it looks that straight. =)
Hmmm
What are we doing there? (Oh look it's Scott! (ToyKeeper)
Oooooh look.. an 80's truck rear cab cross member!
Removing the 69 cross member
This is the 69 cross member that was to short.
Here's me putting the new one in
Not fitting well
Keith's dad
More of getting the cross member in

Re: 69 F250 body on 87 bronco frame
I took a couple pics with my blackberry. =(
Cutting the bed
Dang that looks sweet
We wanted to see what it would look height wise and body line wise so we threw it up there.. We ended up trimming it more.
So I cheated and put the hood on just so we could get a cool pic.
Scott (ToyKeeyper) doing some cutting on the bed..
Pretty much wrapping up the day and calling it quits.
Last pic of the day..

Re: 69 F250 body on 87 bronco frame
Today's update.
Marc (WorldClassSniper) came over and helped today.. Also so did Dustin.. Not sure what his name is on here but he was there learning as much as he could.. Per the pictures it looked like we went backwards but we did go forwards a little. =)
Taking the hood back off. Me, Marc, Dustin
Another shot me on the left, Marc on the right.
Marc cleaning up the crack by the steering box
Getting ready to weld the top of the cracked cross member and the frame by the steering box.
He was having a hard time seeing through his welding helmet.. We thought it was the ambient light from the sun. So I became an umbrella person :toothless
Welding the plates for the core support mounts. (I'll be getting sleeves and putting bolts in there to..)
Woot.. We got smart and went to the Ez-Up. Thankfully.. It was pretty hot out today
Fabin up the brackets.
Keith's dad starting to attack the bed some more

Re: 69 F250 body on 87 bronco frame
Keith cutting on the bed
Why this was going on I pulled off the 69's Master Cylinder from the brake booster and amazingly enough the 87 MC bolted up perfectly to the 69 Booster.. Brakes seems nice and solid.. Won't know for sure until we test drive.
I also bolted the steering box back up.
Why they are doing that I also decide I want to see if I can make the steering work..
I did pull the steering out and realized it wasn't going to be just a bolt in thing.. Since I don't really have a knack for figuring those things out I just left it alone.. Will visit it next trip
A random shot
Getting the core support mounts ready to go.
Bolting them in
Securing them in place. I've been thinking about this since we did it.. I think I messed up where I placed them height wise on each side.. That's what I get for making a decision when I'm frustrated.. ah well.. I'll just have to live with it
More work on the bed
Starting to clean up shop.. Like I said it doesn't look like we made progress and went backwards but things did go good..

Re: 69 F250 body on 87 bronco frame
Update: My mom saw a picture of the progress and told me I should keep it orange and call it "The General" hmmmmm..
My buddy Keith said the steering is done.. He did whatever was needed to do and it is hooked up.. Just needs to be bolted the rest of the way in.. :shrug on what that means...
I did get something accomplished not much buttttttttttt.....
I got the motor in the back of the F250 so I can get install it tomorrow!
oh and for those who can't see photobucket.. here are my seats..
and in the background there's a highlift.. I need to figure a way to mount that in the bed of the 69..
That's it for today.. hope to have more tomorrow.

Update: w/ pics! :thumbup
All the rest of the pics are located here http://www.supermotors.net/registry/22092/73715
So I go over to my friends house to do some work.. Well I want the part of the cab that has the harness that goes into the firewall.. So we decide to cut it off.
Oh yea.. we want that hole! :histerica
Me going in to take off the inertia switch..
Cutting it out
Stupid pose... :histerica
The bed almost ready to be welded and bolted on
Trying to figure out where to put the "hole"
Cutting a hole for the "hole"
Drilling some holes and finishing up the hole.. (yes it's done now)

Look what's going on here!
Trying to get it right
Almost there
In the frame rails
Front shot
So that's it.. The engine is in there.. However need to straighten it out and hook the trans up to it..
So Saturday we'll do that and finish the bed.. Woot! progress is being made!

Re: 69 F250 body on 87 bronco frame
Now to attack the bed
Finally welding the bed together!
More bed work.
Cleaning up for some welds.
Little more work
Getting ready to do something... hmmm.. What could it be
Ohh lookie where it's going
putting it in place
Cutting out the body mount bushing in the very back.
Doing a quick shim job in the front. (these will be redone)
Figuring out the mounts
Welding them in place
Bolted together! (Yes I know it's not straight.. I need to raise the front of the bed a little.. ) But it's bolted on now for transport.

Re: 69 F250 body on 87 bronco frame
Ok.. Today.. I did a little bit.. I blew out all the dirt and stuff that had accumulated from it sitting for the past year.. Made it look a lot better..
My g/f came over and was taking pics of me messing with the wiring and what not.. Unfortunately she didn't bring the cord to hook up her camera to the computer.. Though she said she's bringing it over tomorrow..
All is not lost though.. I used the room mates camera to snap a couple pics.. However it looks a lot better in the day time. :toothless
Hmmmm what's so different? :brownbag

Re: 69 F250 body on 87 bronco frame
Not to much to report.. I attached the fuel lines.. Tried to attach the power steering line to the steering box but after 30+ minute of not being able to get it to start I gave up... Moved on to work on the parking brake.. Played with that for a bit.. got frustrated and moved onto the wiring..
Some of these pics are from yesterday and some are from today..
I think I was taking off the engine hoist leveler
Some wiring stuff.
Trying to stuff the harness over the top of the brake booster
Another shot
Cheesy pic of me taking off the small tires
Other side
Today's pics
Wiring mess.
Small rats nest I'll clean up and organize.
I have removed the instrument cluster and stated pulling out the old harness.. I'll be re running the bronco harness through the dash for a cleaner look tomorrow..
Oh and here are some better pics of the truck now.
That's enough for today.. Tomorrow instead of jumping form thing to thing I'm going to focus only on the wiring.. Should be able to make some good progress...
