Dang i should have told you all before they did it. There was a 1959 ford f350 wrecker Y block, 4 spd, 4x4, holmes twin booms. He wanted $800 but the crusher found her. :cry: :cry:

Awsome pics. Thanks for posting them. I love the Ford 9000's. They were so good looking. You dont see as many on the road today as you did say 10-15 years ago.

The Mack truck looks good too. We had similar Macks at the oilfield outfit I worked for. They were Mack Maxidyne trucks & they were stout as on ox :thup:

I don't seee a problem with a bump as a tow truck, when properly maintained and used as a support vehicle and not the main tow around, I.E. Straightening up the tow yard, Or even towing a light car or doing Jump starts and lock outs and tire changes.
