GOT ME A BUMP TODAY!!!!!!

Post by c130enginetroop »

Well hello all I have been lurking for a while and decieded why lurk find a bump and join the club. I traded(a couple of guns) for a 1968 f100 ranger with the disc brake conversion done from a 72 ford. The motor is a 351HO out of a police car that has had the lower end redone and a 4 speed auto put behind it, and the rear end is a 2.75 (9in rear). ONly has a few cancer spots but I have to put new tires on it since it has been sitting for a year and they are flat and then it can come home. I plan on slowly working on it and using it for now as a truck to run back and forth to the dump. I am excitied to get it home and clean it up and see what project is first (probley wiring to make me fell good about it). I will get pics up as soon as i can.

Thanks,
Gabe

Gabe,

Welcome! Show us some pictures of the new truck!

Also, I see your handle starts with C130? Are you a military aviator?

Pics will be next week when I get the truck home(leaving tomorrow for the weekend with my son) And yes I work on planes in the Air Force. I am part of the Combat Search and Rescue Wing down here at Moody AFB. I work on the C130 and the HH-60 Pavehawk, I don't fly them I fix when the boys with the degrees break them.
