brake cylinder pontiac
I have a1991 pontiac bonnivile blew the back passenger side wheel cylinder, i am having trouble with finding the right size wrench i need to get both the bolts that hold the thing on with and for the brake line itself, i need to get this fixed today. do i need to hike up to auto supply store to purchase a special tool? a 10mm barely fits but is just too big a 9 mm is too small a 3/8 too small 7/16th too big.

I don't know for sure on you car ,but gm liked using inverted Torx sockets, or "E" sockets.
If you look close the bolt head has sharper points like a Torx bit.

Re: brake cylinder pontiac
i have decided to junk the car and send it to the crusher, there are more problems with it then i care to mention, so for the time being i am borrowing a vehicle from a friend to use until i find a replacement. I have always been the type to buy $500.00 cars and dump a few hundred extra into it then to go out and pay a bank note on vehicles. only thing is with the way prices are going up on everything and people not adjusting their lifestyles to match. those $500 cars are no longer found people are asking 1200 or more so they can pay their house payments seems to me. hope i didn't offend anyone but this is the case in my area. now i just need to figure out how my vacuum advance works, but i highjacked a topic in the engine section for that.

i have a 88 buick electra park ave that is in pretty good shape i am gettign ready to sell. it needs a headliner replaced and a driver side arm rest. i also know of the air bag hose for the auto leveling system leaks. so i unpluged the compressor. i know i am pretty far from you. and i would take your pontiac as part of the deal as a trade off the asking price. it has new tires and a new harmonic balancer i put on it.
