I have good news and I have bad. The good news is sitting in the front seat was the paper from where it was last registered. With the owners name adress and everything. From that i got the address and the name of the deceased owner. Now I can track down the newspaper article and see who the executer of the estate was and who now owns the truck. Its in Cherokee County Texas.

BAD NEWS I got close to her and she hasnt fared as well sitting under that tree as i had thought/ BUT its complete and has AC, 3-speed. it is a Sport Custom and in all original shape just as I thought. Here are some pics:

Interior including the paper with all the info I need:

AHH! Ac, and the dash isnt even cracked!!!!!!!!

I THINK she is a 71. "I FEEL LOVE>>>>>>>>>ALL AROUND!!!"

I got an update on the bump. The owners had a living son that ids believed to have inherited the estate with the truck. I am woking on a name and contact information. I may have that information to make contact soon. I am trying to get the full name. I have the full name of the deceased owner so thats a start. Hopefully soon I can make contact and make an offer on it. I believe that if its satthere since 03 there is a good chance the son will sell the truck for some cold $$$$. At least I have made progress.

I'll chip in again. good luck. Looks like a solid truck, aside form sitting there for along time. I hope you get it. It's a real waste for one of these to just rust away in some overgrown grass somewhere.

Nosy me, I went up there this evening and looked the truck over thoroughly. I guess that was OK.

Got to be a 302. Its tiny compared to mt 360FE, but is all intact, hoever lookslike the AS wasnt working.

Looks like its about to fall out from under the dash, also looks to be an aftermarket unit. Gotta love the brick.

There is junk in the bed, but I dug to the bottom and the bed it still solid with little rust. The rust on the cab is not as bad as it looks in the pics.

God im nosy! Pray they sell me this old gem.

No, I mean, in all 3 of the pics of the engine, it looks like it's leaning back and about to fall out. Like I said, it could just be me.

I do to, its going to be very disappointing to drive by her all the time and know I cant have her. Kinda like sitting in class in school with a girl you had a crush on but she never would talk to you. She isnt locked, I opened the doors and looked her over. Probably should be plundering around in someone elses truck like that. Probably not legal  I hope to talk with her onwner soon, im close to getting his contact info. I want to save her before its too late. Im going to be heartbroke if the owner wont sell and lets her sit there and rot away. She served her family until the very end and if thats the way it had to be at least she went out of this world a loyal servant of her onwers until thier last days. I hope I can cave her and give her new life just the way I did my 'barn find" 69 F100. I love these old trucks very much and Id rather have an old family bump than the nicest new truck they build. Both this truck and my 69 served their owners well all their lives. Taken care of these old trucks will take car of you.

Sorry guys, Im a very passionate person.
