yes kits aren't very expensive. the air test only shows what is wrong with it. it is either the clutch packs gone bad a seal in the drum pistons or the valve body.

Check out Jay at Broader Performance transmissions. He is a nice guy and will sell you a rebuild kit, a book and help you all he can. At least he did when I rebuilt the c4 I used to have. His parts might be a bit more but his customer service was outstanding
