Part number for the bulldog is "100PctBS" followed by L for left, R for right and D for dash, depending on where they were mounted. The tailgate used the L side one.

Read that part number closely: 100 Pct BS

I want to see a picture of the 2 speed rear end. If it has one then I will believe the story. I doubt I will see a picture though.
I would love a real 2 speed rear end in my truck that was small enough to work and not an old Colombian but something more modern. That would really be cool
