ialways figured they wanted 200-300 dollars. but if the bed weighs 300 pounds at .20 then that is only 60.00 it shouldn't weigh that much more the white bed is no good. i havent looked at the other bed real good yet. the outside looks good. pretty good. it has a upward dent on top of the middle passenger stake pocket. the white bed has a unusal rust spot right behind the bed on the passenger side i think.

i'd get the best one rather than have to cut out and weld.

at the scarpyard we pay 160 a ton right now. So that goes to .08 a pound so that really good price. that go as 400 a ton.

this yard pays like sheep for scrap. and they try to sell almost double or so for large weighted items. but you have to know how to buy stuff all at one time not just a piece here and a piece there. unless you are buying something large.

yeah i ran into a spot where all the junk yard core supports were worse than what i had sold to the metal recyclers for 1.80 i had to buy back for 35.00.

i learned from then on to source a new one before i tossed out the old one. And at 35.00 dollars the lesson wasn't horrably expensive.
