I sold my 390 and c6 for 250 to the speed and machine shop. i think i did does anyone else?

well if the block is'nt junk , and they can turn the crank ,and the heads are rebuildabl too... then yes

he said on the c6 core price because the trans out of a truck like hurt any thing. I talked to andy while he said 400 buck for both. but he was gone on vaction.

well the 75 to 100 is the core price for the c6 for an fe
u should of gotting 300 to 500 just for your fe390 depending on the condestion

The bad thing is i helped them out on some FT cranks but now price on them will go up. i thought 300 would be good.

well if they give you a lower price on some machine work then all is good other then that 300 is a fair price..

was it for sure a 390? did you need it or was it sitting around in your way? when was andy coming back from vacation? could you have waited? are they going to give you any help later on?

I would love to get 250 for every 390 I had. Maybe 30 of them I've sent to the scrapper? The most I've ever paid for a good runner stocker is $125. Of coarse the $3500 parts and machine tab that comes after is hard to swallow, but it's the reason why an old stocker core isn't worth much unless it has special heads or go fast parts.

If it was just a stock fe I would say you did pretty good on the deal imo. We scrapped a 72 f-250 with a supposedly running 360 in it a while back
