It's been fun but . . .
I've had a great time here, and you folks have been fantastic. But I got a job with the FBI that requires me to move to the DC area. It would cost more to move my bump than it is worth. Once I get settled I am sure that I'll get another. For the time being though I am happy that my truck went to another forum member, although it was sad to watch her leave:
I'll be back once I get another. See all y'all then.

It's for my twin boys, sure they're only 3 right now, but it's all for them! Well, and my twin girls. They're not even 1 yet, but when they are I'll have a pit crew!

Thanks guys. I'm swapping my daily for a 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee with built in nav system, so hopefully it will get me around the beltway! For the time being I plan on taking the train into the District, so I think I'll be safe.

You might not be safe taking the train, but that's for a whole different reason!

If you want you can drive down to Richmond and I'll let you sit in mine. You'll need to get the proper documentation to cross the border from DC to normalville though.
On the bright side, if you'd taken your baby with you youi'd likely spend more time sitting in it than driving it. DC traffic is the reason I haven't ventured north of Fredrickburg for 20 years. That and the C.H.U.D's

Traffic, crime and cost of living out there are the things I'm not looking forward to. I've gotten used to slowing down to 70 at the peak of tourist season traffic here in New Mexico. It's a great job though, so it'll be worth it in the end.
As far as C.H.U.D.s, we've got more aliens per capita than anywhere in the world, so we've got alien/zombie defense down to a science.R.Smith wrote:On the bright side, if you'd taken your baby with you youi'd likely spend more time sitting in it than driving it. That was most likely it. It went to SLC, the driver was going to spend the night in Albuquerque then make the trip in a day.mljjones67 wrote:I am pretty sure I seen your truck and the semi Wednesday in Utah.

Tim,
Good luck with the new job man.
That is one nice looking truck, and an awesome picture of it and the New Mexico landscape.
