I've been told the cammer will destroy the big boss motor in the 1/4. If you've ever been next to a running drag prepped cammer, you know what im talking about.

lol Well WHO WOULDN'T lol that still doesn't detract from the fact this Ford Hemi was an awsome engine and venturing a guess here I suspect if you souped it up it would be Equally awsome as the Cammer but who knows the days when it'd be possible to find out have been gone for Decades

yeah i know what you mean about needing a big bank acct. wish i had one otherwise i would be putting in one instead of rebuilding my 390 and get a 6spd put in behind all that power would definitely be a tire roaster

Not to de rail but when my grandfater passed My grandma gave me the 68 hipo 390 and 68.5 428 cj mustangs they had. A good friend of my grandpa and grandma stopped by one day to see about buying one of the Mustangs. He was driving a 67 Galaxie witha 427 sohc and a 4 speed. That was without a doubt the fastest car I had ever been in. I was just plain scary. And it was a factory car as I was told.
