It was dumb luck that my '70 was for sale down the road from me. The fact that I am also a '70 made we want my first "vintage" and third Ford truck even more.

67-72 are all my favorites but my 2 favorites are 67 and 70. My dads 67 is whats set me liking these trucks. Then 70 because it is the first truck i ever drove myself. All the bumps are from a time when trucks had character.

my first truck was the 70 f250 that i have have posted in my profile, the reason i wanted the truck is because this is its 3rd generation in my family. my grandfather bought it from the original owner almost 20 years ago and, after running it for a few years sold it to my dad for $1500. my dad sold it to me for the same price. back then it had old worn out tires and the rims where poor to say the least but the truck was in overall good condition. it has been and will always be my favorite truck( i plan to give it to my son when he gets old enough to understand the value of the history in it.)

Personally I like the 70 grille and the 67-69 beds without the light. Now I have a 69 and I wish I hadn't sold the extra 70 grille frame I had.

I them all from 71-77.5. Something about the grills on the 67-70 and the 77-79 trucks just doesn't sit right with me.

If I had to choose I would have a truck with a '67 Body so I could have the '67 Heater Controls, Door Mechanisms, Sun Visors/Mirror, Hood Emblems, And have a Short-bed w/o the parking light or reflectors, and a '69 Ranger Grille because they look good. It Would be a Custom-Cab since I like a no-frills kind of truck and be powered by a 460 backed by a 4-speed :D. That would be my dream truck because I really like those specifics from the '67 year trucks and the '69 grilles. However if I were to get one for sentimental reasons it would be my dad's '69 with a FE/4-speed just like my dad had in high-school after getting it from my grandfather . He has shown me pictures of it and it was a good looking truck but it is no longer in the family . I had originally intended to find his '69 to restore for the sentimental value it would have for me and my dad/grandfather.

I have to say the 67 , it was the first truck I can remember riding in, that my dad owned and he gave it to me. The grills are also my favorite, and 67 ford just sounds better for some reason to me.

For me I just happen to be fortunate enough to have a 67' due to the fact that my Papaw bought it new in 66'. The poor truck has been a warrior. Anyway, for me I like the 67's the best. You can see why I would be partial.
