I wanted a forklift only for lowering the purlins down to the ground after they are unbolted. Also to load everything into scrap bins. Just seamed the safest way to get 20' long pieces of steel down from 14' up.
Talked to a good friend of mine that has mentored me in the construction field for a long time now and is many times better with things like this then I am.
I told him I wanted to bring him in on this because...well because he has way more experience then me. Less chance of screw ups, accidents, or oversights this way.

So he is going to meet with the land owner and talk to him about getting a hourly labor rate plus scrap money. He has done work for this guy in the past.
