Decided to go with BF Goodrich
Was going to go with Michalen, but for $200. less I am going with BF Goodrich 235 85R 16 on my my 68 Camper Special. Man tires for her sure are $$$$$$$$$. Been a while since I purchased a new set. Oh well it will be worth it.

Re: Decided to go with BF Goodrich
Michelins are great passanger tires but once they get into truck sizes there just not as good as everything else out there, my brother-in-law bought a set for his truck and paid good money for them but only kept them for 10,000 miles and changed over to BF Goodrichs, the michelins were starting to cup and he said he didnt like the way they drove. I know this dont have anything to do with a pick-up tires but i had a set of michelins on my dumptruck and they were the biggest waste of money i could have spent, when the truck was loaded the sidewalls would bulge and when i would make a turn i could feel them trying to roll under, wasnt overloaded. Big truck tires are worth $50 as a core for recaping if the tire dosent have patches, plugs or broken cords. When the michelins would get to 1/8" of tread they would through a chunk of tread out the size of a nickle and exposeing the cord making a core worthless. Other owners said they had the same problem. Im glad you went with BF Goodrichs for your truck, i think they make some of the best pick-up tires out there. Enjoy.

Thanks. They wanted $829.00 I TALKED THEM DOWN TO $703.40 with life time rotation and bal.
Which I felt was a fair price for them, after checking around at 9 different places. The range was $703.40 to over $900.

Re: Decided to go with BF Goodrich
Which BFG did you get? I need to buy 10 tires that size some time. 6 for the bump and 4 for the Superduty.
