Pray for America, and our fellow Americans families that are remembering this horrible day..

Prayers sent.

The key is to Remember without dwelling. Easy to say, but hard to swallow.

As a Volunteer Firefighter, this day will always be Remembered.

I'm sure fire training tonight will have a somber tone.

I am sorry for the losses anyone here may have suffered due to the horrific events of 9/11.

Watching a special on the History channel about it now. Brings back a lot of anger and sadness of that day.

That was a very well done special. A lot of that footage I hadn't seen before. Very real. Very heavy stuff to watch.

Sorry this is a tear jerker. I first heard this song on my 3rd deployment in 2005. Some buddies of mine and I had smuggled some beer and where pretty well lit, when one of them played this. Needless to say the good time was over. I was at Ft Drum NY when I watched the second plane fly into the trade centers. I had the choice to get out or stay in after that. But in the end, if I do this now maybe, just maybe my kids wont have to know war. Not likely but hopefully! We should never forget, although this tragedy is just a distant echo for some...

To many of our fellow Americans are letting 9-11 fade into the past. In the past yes, but the memories should remain strong.
Those who forget the past are doomed to repeat it. (Not my words, just repeating them.)

I agree whole heartedly. I think the TV stations should have to run at least a 1 minute mini-movie of the planes hitting and the buildings falling at least once a month. Like they do the Emergency Broadcast test. I don't think many people think about it at all anymore.
