Ok I'm new - what is a "bump"

Post by Forsche »

Have to admit I have no idea what everyone means when they refer to a "bump". Just purchased a 1968 f100 (being delivered Monday - pics to follow) and this will be my first pickup.

I'm assuming it has something to do with a body style? Is it particular to a certain year or model?

Thanks

A bump is a 67 - 72 ford pickup. Characterized by the horizontal "bump" on the body line. This is opposed to a dent (73 - 79 ford trucks) that have the "dent " running horizontally along the body lines.
