Ugh... Thought I was gonna get somethin' done

Post by fordamericana »

109 degrees outside...

Started the process of shortening my steering column to work with the power steering box I rebuilt... Too dang hot outside... Weld a little, wipe the sweat, weld some more, wipe more sweat.

Now I think I know what its like to be a dog chasing its tail. Looks like you're getting something done, but you really aren't.

Wow, that sucks. Where are you? 109 degrees in late September seems quite hot.

I'm actually enjoying the heat here- even though it's only been in the 70s the past two days. Much better coming from a month of cold and rainy/overcast weather.
I hope the sunshine will hold out a bit longer. Last year's first snowfall was October 6. Maybe we can get a bit more summer here.

Sounds like you could use some fall, though.

I'm a bit further north. At home we had our first snowfall a couple days ago. At work it's about 25-29 degrees out, the wind's blowing like crazy and the ponds have frozen over already.

I've been through Libby a few times while staying at my dad's place in Trout Creek.

Tulare county, about five hours and change north of Los Angeles... Really odd weather for this time of year...

Success! The steering column has been shortened. Now to clean it up a bit and paint it to match the interior... :D
