i had 2 240's up for sale. i had to end up selling the heads off of them to get anyone to buy anything from them at all. i still have the rest of the engines. i think they are going into the next load of srcap. put the enige on craigslist for 150.00 and see what happens.

Free. It's tough to get anyone to take the smaller ford motors and the 3 speed manuals.

Just for reference, my complete running 360 (carb to oil pan minus accessories, etc.) is for sale for $300 (and the complete C6 with converter is for sale for $200). That's a pretty smoking deal for the right buyer. The problem is that the demand is pretty low, so not many people are in the market.

If you're determined to sell them, you need to be willing to hold onto them for a long while until someone needs them, if ever. Otherwise, scrap metal prices may be your best bet.

Around here, the 240's are a hot item with the "Madhouse" crowd (Bowman Gray Stadium).
Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools talk because they have to say something.--Plato
Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

That's not an oil leak :nono: That's SWEAT from all that HORSEPOWER!!
