Paul, I sure hope things have settled down for you a little bit since you sent this , I was a little absorbed in my own stuff and didn't see this till just now. I can certianly vouch for the quality and improvemnet that the harnesses make, if any one is on the fence, get one, they are very easy to install, and the improvement is 100%. Allan installed mine in about 20 minutes, (not counting the trip to Advance Auto to replace the headlight that broke :-D )....but I could not believe the difference it made when I drove it the first time after dark.....best of luck to you Buddy, hope things smooth out for you real soon!

Thanks Mike, Chris. Things were looking to smooth out, and then my NEW boss found out I was looking at getting a second job (I can't afford living on just the one, at what he was paying) and I just got a voicemail a bit ago telling me he's taking me off the schedule.

Anyways, the new job will be full time, starting at $2/hr more, and after 90 days I'll get a $2 raise. Cant say no.

And no more harnesses left. Blew them out fast, even had people throwing the full price at me (you know who you are ya sneaky dogs! :nono: :D )

Things are looking up. Now if she would just quit calling me and begging to take her back, I could get on with my life!

Best of luck... When you have another harness made, I was suppose to order one a long time ago and it got put on the sideline. I will gladly order one. Just let me know and I will send you check. I don't use paypal anymore. Again Best Of Luck! Hard times surely do suck, but coming out of the same problem about 7 years ago there seams like there isn't a light. There is one though I am living proof. You seem to be in decent spirit and you haven't quit trying so that is a plus.

I agree! Please excuse me for offerin' my :2cents: but whatever you do, don't make the same mistake I did! 1st marriage died when she traded me in on a newer model. Got her a man 6 years younger than she was. I was devastated because she kept the kids and they were my life. We split in Jan. '94 and I was living with somebody by May, married by November, divorced by the following September. She strung me along for 9 months and took over $20K from my lovesick heart  :x . while I lived in my car and ate frozen burritos to take care of her and her kids. What a doofus! She married somebody else during all this and still strung me along. When I finally pulled my head out of my arse I was a basketcase. Then I spent the next 6 years focusing on myself and my kids. Moved my mama in with me and lived the good life! When I got married this last time it was to a GOOD woman. Hard working Christian gal who loves her family and we share 6 granddaughters now and I've never been happier or better off in my life! When we started getting serious, which was pretty quick, I stepped back and evaluated the situation. When I decided to marry her it was a calculated, premeditated, logical decision based on factors of family values, financial considerations, long term goals and, of course but lastly, physical attrativeness. Met her mama and saw how well she was going to hold up with age :woohoo: But I took the heat and butterflies out of it and used my noggin for once. I tell you all this to say this....cut her loose man, she'll drag you down with her. Take some time and focus your energy on making YOUR life better. You can't take care of your kids properly if you don't take care of yourself first!

P.S. I'll take one of your harnesses when you get around to making some more!

Oh, she's cut loose, trust me. She thinks I am going to give her "another chance" for her to "follow through" on changing. She is the exact opposite of what I knew of her before we got serious (and she got pregnant) and is very close to true narcisism. I think she might have some bipolar going on, too, but it is very difficult to prove that. Even her own daughter (24 yrs old) knows how she is, and would support me in a custody battle except for the fact that she fears what her mother would do. That alone is scary as hell.

Trust me, she almost dragged me into the gutter, and although she is good at borrowing money, it's likely she is going to drag herself down now. She never was good with money, and is always having to borrow money to pay off borrowed money. :dk:

Hoping I can get through this with only a couple dings to my credit. I spent the last 8 years paying stuff off and getting it clean, and it took less than 1 month to screw it up again, all because I trusted her to follow through when I took a chance.

Never again.

I hope and pray things work out for the best. I have a 69 Ranger that I'd like to put one of your harnesses in if you start making them again. Put me on a list and PM me when you're at that point. No rush, just don't forget me...

God bless. Ya'll will be in my prayers.
