Good day at the yard

Post by towtruckerfour »

I got a passenger fender in great shape, a floormat to put in until I can get a new one, a power steering hose, a headlight to replace the one I borrowed for the other truck and a hose fitting all for $45 for the 68. I just wish Jalopy Jungle was closer. Its about 45 minutes away. My wife says that is probably a good thing.

Why is it that the trucks are always the best running vehicles in the family?

Now if you just get the drivers side fender you can sell it to thrush544. Is the name of the yard really Jalopy Jungle or is that a nickname? Does the Jungle have any 600 panels?

It is really called Jalopy Jungle. It is where I find all my parts. It is the same as Pic n Pull. Only costs a dollar to go in and you pull your own parts. There is 7 trucks out there right now I think. I haven't seen any 600 panels.

Sounds like a pretty good haul. I went to P&P on Saturday and got a window crank handle, a pair of retractable seat belts, a pair of 70-72 front turn signal lenses, and a pair of armrests from a dent side van that are the same as our bump door handles.

Boy I wish my yards had more bumps!!! The closest one for me is an hour!
Vi hilser til Day
Vi hilser sønner Day
Vi hilser the Night og hennes døtre
Se på oss nå, med myke og ømme øyne
Velsign oss som sitter her
Vi hilser gudene
Vi hilser på gudinnene
Hilsen til deg; hellige Earth
Gi oss en gave av kunnskap og visdom
og la oss få hender som kan helbrede.
