I saw part of the rent is too high speech. What a nutcase. That blonde headed woman wasn't much better. Wasn't she a Madam? She was comparing running a house of prostitutes to running the government. At least she has more experience running a company that some of out top people. lol

Cling, at least her customers liked it when they got screwed.

With that said, your point is???? :D

Why is it that there's seldom time to fix it right the first time, but there's always time to fix it right the second time???

That's not an oil leak :nono: That's SWEAT from all that HORSEPOWER!!

I'm constantly amazed at how high housing is in some cities. My wife's hooked on those House Hunter shows and last night this girl was looking at a 1 bedroom apartment (why anyone would BUY an apartment is beyond me) for $269,000! And she thought it was a steal! Here in Georgia, I built a 1600 sq ft, 3BR/2BA house on 1.3 acres for $125,000. Got a creek on one side and about 3/4 acres cleared yard, if you don't mind leaning a little when you walk it  and the rest is wooded. It's in the mountains (Pickens County) about 40 mins from work outside of metro Atlanta (Alpharetta). I'd rather live in nature and drive an hour to work than drive 15 mins and live in the concrete/asphalt jungle fighting traffic. Fortunately I carpool with my wife and stepson so I don't have to drive the bump to work ($$$).
