Sorry to hear about your friend man, but at least that gives you some motivation to work on Green Bean . Truck's looking great! What van are the seats your putting in there out of? And the way you blacked out the centers of the wheels reminds me of the black Chevy rally wheels w/ trim rings, not sure whether that's a good thing or a bad thing but I like 'em .

Thanks bud but someday she'll realize what she's done and regret it cause talk about trust I prob know more about certian things in her life than her 3yr boyfriend and I've known her twice as long  but yeah all this has deffentally givin me motivation to work on the truck I've prob done more thease last few days than I've done the whole 4 or 5 months I've owned it  The seats came out of a last 70's or 80's ford conversion van I've been storing them for a long time I use to have them in my 70 but they came out better this time. I didn't think about the wheels looking chevy even though there chevy wheels  but when I get the drums silver I think they'll look better.

After taking a little break from the project I'm back on it I started a job at O'Reilly's so I'm making ok money and get a discount on car parts  but I bought some new gauges that light up green to match the truck and I started to replace the lifters but have yet to get them adjusted right. Anyways this evening the bean got a bed!! I bought one for $150 its got a little rust but not too bad but tommrrow I start sanding and painting to match the rest of the truck. All I gotta sat is with a bed the truck looks TALL and I love it

About the camber, i'm thinking it may be a ball joint unless it uses kingpins like the two wheel drive trucks.

I got the day off tommrrow so it'll be a full day of trying to get the truck running. I've got a new head, lifters, push rods, rocker, cups and nuts and they still wouldn't adjust. I'm thinking someone has been into the old 300 before cause at top dead the intake is all the way up and the exhaust is starting to come up so I'm thinking I got one mess on my hands  but hopefully the truck will be running again because its been torn down for awhile now and I still need to finish my seat mounts.

The olny recent picture I have of the truck. I'm thinking about going with the green/white paint all the way down the truck......and maby a white roof but I don't know yet.

, Looks pretty good with the bed on it! I think that the White/Green two-tone with the top back half of the cab being white would look pretty good. Hope you get everything sorted out with the engine.

The truck is running again but I'm having fuel and carb problems so tommrrow I'm gonna replace the fuel pump and hopefully that'll keep me from having to get a crab. My list of stuff I want is growing now that its running again  so far once I fix the frontend I'm getting a set of military tires for it and I also want to buld some custom bumpers and a tailgate like this http://www.pickupspecialties.com/Tire_g ... series.htm

Hopefully new pictures tommrrow.

Its back up and running!!! I still need to tweak the timing and do some final adjustments but saturday I'm going to buy a new dana 44 out of a 79 F250 and swap it into my truck and while I'm at it lift the front some more :hd: but that update comes tommrrow but since the last update I've blacked out the lights and mounted the gauges in a dash part that came out of a 50's or 60's chevy. Big update tommrrow!!

Yep the last big problem that needed fixed. I'm excited to have front disc brakes and more lift on the front to match the flipped rear.
