i don't know if it works yet or not, since i broke the gas pedal i'll have to put the rear axle on stands and run the wheels that way. i haven't even touched the drums in about 2 weeks, to many things going on between hunting, football and school. since this is the last week of football i'll have more time to work on her.

also has any one used a different throttle linkage, i am trying to put a springed cable on mine. but can't seem to make the gas pedal holes line up, any suggestions. it came off of a 351 cleveland

would i be better off going to the junkyard a picking up a peddal out of another 67? :hmm:

I have seen it done it requires a pully or two ander the dash and the newer style pedal as well as some drilling.

Seen it on a '67 with an '89 fuel injected 302 under it.

well, i got the drum sepparated from the axle head, it's just stuck against the hub seal now. so that's my project today, as well as firing it up and checking the speedo.

oh and we lost our football game last night 6-0, almost won but ran out of time. we have a 4-5 record seasons done

i am reaaly ticked off now. i just went through 2 cans of wd-40, beat the heck out of it, and tried prying it but no movement. I am forced now to take the hub off. how much does the nut cost that takes the gear off?

that gal dang drum, i had my step dad try to get it off, he said he has never seen a drum come off this hard. it seems to have fused it self to the casing surroundig the hub. So we are going to break it off. we even tried heating it with a torch then beating it. Keep in mind we used a 3lb hand maul.
