Top of my head on the hood latch, seems I can duck in and out of the engine bay a hundred times, then when I least expect it, Whack! I then proceed to cuss and rub the top of my head, half hunched over and pacing in circle, while my neighbors watch and think I'm slightly off.

Was installing the Driver's side head during my rebuild-somehow managed to have the tip of my finger between it and the block...lots of cussing involved after I got it lifted up enough one-handed to get my finger out!

If they gave Purple Hearts for bumpside injuries, I'd have a shop full. Got two scabs on top of my head right now from the hood latch. And a partially blue fingernail from trying to get a bolt loose. Have had numerous exhaust burns. Not to mention scrapes and cuts through the years.

:yt: HEAD SCAB... Busted knuckles from impact wrench getting stuck and spinning hand against frame  Or my favorite the scar I still have on my leg, after 3 months, from soldering some wires under the bed with shorts on. Hot solder does not brush off easy as you are screaming in pain :pout:

Haha :yt:

The standard bang your head on the hood latch. I'm not really tall (under 6 ft) but my hood springs are weak and the hoods sags quite a bit. I hit my head pretty regularly.
I've gotten assorted cuts/scrapes and burns.
Nothing serious.. yet. I've only had my truck for 3 months.

My dog however.. had the door slammed on his tail because my mom wasn't paying attention. I've never heard him yelp and scream so loud. He forgot about it ten minutes later and sustained no damage though.

I have had the head-hood latch collision many times. You'd think after the first 60 or so times you'd remember where that darn thing is! I laid open a knuckle on a flywheel gear.

I dont know what you guys are doing to hit the latch so many times lol

I hit it once and learned. I haven't hit it since. And I am quite tall.

Worst ouchy was probably grabbing a piece of metal i just welded lol

Little scars on practically every part of my arms from fingertips to elbows. And the usual hood latch bump on top of my head...uhhh....yesterday.
