Way OT: 64 Fairlane
Is the 64 Fairlane highly sought after or just hard to find parts for? I cant locate anyone who sells a replica instrument cluster bezel and I cant even find one for sale on ebay or anywhere. Maybe Im just not searching right.

Re: Way OT: 64 Fairlane
The 64 is definetly one of the more sought after Fairlanes. Everybody remembers the Thunderbolt and that drives the demand a bit. The only place I know about that has a Fairlane catalog is Mac's: http://macsautoparts.com/default.asp
Also, if you have a 64 PLEASE POST PICS!!

No I dont have one but I pass a really nice one everytime I go to the casino I just wish they would slap a for sale sign on it. Ive been staring at the instrument cluster and am trying to figure out how to morph it into bump. Of course if I end up with the car I wont be parting it out for the cluster. I just like the 64 the best.

You're gonna be mad at me. A friend I work with tried to sell me one Tuesday for $500. He had to have the money that day. The pics on his cell phone showed the body to be in good shape. He didn't drive it because he said he had a 360 ( I think thats what it was) in it.And it used too much gas. And that's why I didn't want it either. Needless to say, it was sold that day.

Wildcard that might have been a 260 motor , i think they came stock in them.
Either way sounds like someone got a great deal.
