Project that i have to finish

Post by 69rangerf100 »

so my wife said that i spend to much time on my truck i maybe spend anywhere from 5 - 10 hours a week on it at night after my kids go to bed. but as usual i start other thing and stop working on them  . long story short her cat destroyed the carpet that the PO put in there so i pulled the carpet out. prepped the ply food floor for the backer board to go down got that laid down about a month ago. got most of the tile laid out today now the measure the tiles that i need to cut to make sure that everything fits just right. then i can lay the mortar and get the tile down wait a day then grout the floor then i get tio reinstall everything that i took off and out

:D, Tile work is always fun! Sounds like you've got everything planned out pretty well, maybe when you're done your wife will let you spend a bit more time on the bump .

Gotta balance the honey do list with the bump do list. :D Keeps momma happy, and ya get to do more $$$ on the bump. Sure don't want her unhappy. :nono: I know, in the same boat. Oh ya, that reminds me. I need to work on the fishing boat. Man the list is long. :hmm: No time for :zz:

Currently remodelling the dogbox to fit my needs. Somehow she can't appreciate a $1700 deal when they cost $8400 new...

I found its easier to just go buy a toy and bring it home and clean up the 'mess' of explaining it afterwards rather than asking permission and getting a no. I think everything I bought to work on the bump Ive explained away how I can use it for the honeydo list. Air compressor - Honey I can keep your tires inflated. Welder - I can fix whatever breaks around the house. Sand blaster - You know that railing out back thats getting kinda rough. Parts washer - Um, um, um.

Well, get a couple oddballs or floral print ones and use them as 'accents' when you run out of the right ones :)

do an ecentrick or eclectic pattern if all else fails, are these the big multi colored stone ones or the blue with black specks and raised bumps? or the red with the diamond plate looking pattern?
