My neighbors two houses from me fly the flag with the peace sign. They are a couple of young guys,Iv'e talked to them and they seem like alright guys. I am a Army Vet.(1965-1971) I fly the flag. There are 28 homes in our neighborhood and we are the only two that ever fly the flag.

I fly the flag but I was never in the service. Neighbor across the street is a Marine reservist with 3 tours in Iraq under his belt. Guy next door was an Army combat medic in Viet Nam. A buddy who lives a couple doors away is a veteran of the peacetime Air Force. My sincere thanks to all who served.

:) A little note on the Confederate flag. What is commonly refered to as the Confederate flag is actually the battle flag of the Army of Northern Virginia. President of the Confederacy Jefferson Davis and his cabinet were presented with several designs but none were ever formally adopted as they were far too busy fighting a war. :)
