well here are a couple more pictures of the ole' buick. I took the dash all apart and polished everything. I have a guy working on finding someone to repair the tube type radio.

Cool cars. My Mom used to have a 55, and a 56 Buick. She hit a telephone pole with the 56. Broke the pole off, put a little ding in the front bumper. Safety slogan should have been.

Thanks for the input. I was looking at it the other night, the front and rear bumpers are four individual pieces...It probably took longer to produce one bumper, than it does to produce a whole "plastic" auto today.

There are several ads in Hemmings Motor News for guys who repair old radios. I had a '50 Studebaker with a radio that didn't work and I sent it to a guy in upstate New York and he fixed it and installed a new speaker for about $250. You can also find the ads on www.hemmings.com. Good luck....
