Sweet!

Post by R.Smith »

I just suffered 20 minutes on hold for DMV Info but was rewarded with finally finding out once and for all that Yes, I can register 1970 plates to my daily driver and I don't even have to put those stupid tax stamps on them!

That was the debate here. I was told that I could put them on my daily driver and that I could only put them on a vehicle registered as an antique. So today I gritted my teefs and called the DMV. I put this off because I knew I'd be on hold for a while and wouldn't likely find out anything definate but, the chick I talked to was adamant that I could put them on my DD, pay a yearly fee and drive the truck like any other vehicle as long as my tags were clear.
