my 70 f 100 pro street

Post by DDfab »

haven't got as much as I wanted to get done this year with work and all keeping me too busy. Have bought alot of engine parts though. Ford motorsport block, scat cank and rods, diamond pistons, tfs a460 heads and intake. Pump gas 588 should be on dyno this year still. Rest of truck has been getting some work on the body and moving the Ford inlay in the tailgate out even with the tail lights. Firewall is getting smoothed. Got the 03 f 150 seats, but haven't got them done yet. Making slots for the 5 point harness. The 2x3 chassis is almost done. Building a new chassis table next week. Will hopefully have it done by spring. Have to do some dash work for the controls and vents for the vintage A/C. Went with the dakota digital.

Hey, I like the gate. Is that a fabricated separate piece below the Ford lettering? I did something similar, but left the lettering off and made a sunken license plate. With the latch flipped to the inside, which I assume you did as well. And the bottom of the gate had some dents, so I made the piece wrap around so the seam was on the bottom.

Gotta see how you put in your seats. I am putting 02 150 seats in mine. To sit low enough I am cutting seat frames and probably cut the floorboard some.

the center of the tail gate is three pieces. The ford inlay and the top and bottom pieces are all but welded together. I made the fillers on my brake. I haven't put the seats in yet. Been busy on so many other projects lately the truck got abandond
